Phase 5 - Design & Results

The design intention is to combine soft and hard activities ; Production. process and products.
To enable user to experience different activities in different designated spaces.

Mood and materiality is more of industrial in the ground floor which is enveloped by nature indoors by the exterior through transparency materials

The first floor has contrast of worlds, soft and hard in materiality creates different mood and experiences to the end users.

Redefining spa, is a different approach by designer to design this in an eco friendly manner where it contrasts the usual spa rooms with water running continuously and hygienically cautious users avoid such spa tubs.
This also allows users to move from one spa box to another and experience different typology that is offered.

This allows users to experience different thermal contradictions, giving sensorial experiences that produces contradictions of conventional notions of comfort. The human body is capable of , excited by thermal extremities . In the conception of Roman bath complex. occupants move from extremity (caldarium) to extremity (Frigidarium), Managing their own thermal delight.

As opposed to a liquid bath, JariJari spa is a radiant one that co mingles extremities into singular thermal contradictions. The user rolls or crawls under the monolithic structure and is confronted with another world inside.
